Prof Griff on the Illuminati

I'm not going to rap about you, I will murder you.  Your family, your child, if it's a new born, I don't give a fuck, I could never go to hell cause I'm goin' to take over bitch!

Tyler, The Creator, a young rapper from Los Angeles and member of OFWGKTA (aka Odd Future), is clearly being influenced by demonic forces, which is quite evident in his music video below.  The music video is up for Video of the Year, and Tyler, The Creator is up for Artist of the Year.

Why would someone putting out music and images like that be up for Artist of the Year or Video of the Year?  Ask yourself that.

Not all rap music is bad.  Just the junk pushed by the mainstream, like Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and Kanye West to name a few.

UPDATED AUGUST 6, 2011: Anonymous reminds us how awesome Immortal Technique is.

  1. The only rap music I ever liked was the original stuff by 'Public Enemy' and 'NWA.'

They weren't talking about 'bitches and hos' or slinging crack, but about taking on the man and taking down his power structure.

  2. Should have posted "Cause of Death" by Immortal Technique. Sample lyrics:

I was watching the Towers, and though I wasn't the closest
I saw them crumble to the Earth like they was full of explosives
And they thought nobody noticed the news report that they did
About the bombs planted on the George Washington bridge
Four Non-Arabs arrested during the emergency
And then it disappeared from the news permanently
They dubbed a tape of Osama, and they said it was proof
"Jealous of our freedom," I can't believe you bought that excuse
Rockin a motherfucking flag don't make you a hero
    Word to Ground Zero
The Devil crept into Heaven, God overslept on the 7th
The New World Order was born on September 11

  4. My fave is still "What Would You Do?" by Paris from his Sonic Jihad days. Heard he's left the Nation Of Islam since then.
    Great blog.

  5. Great post John. I used to love rap back in the days when it was overtly political (think The Coup, Paris, Sista Souljah, etc), but after it descended into "gangsta" I quit listening. I sort of underwent a revival of interest when Immortal Technique came out, but that was only temporary and eventually I lost interest again. Not surprised to hear now about the demonic images and lyrics given the way everything else is being manipulated. "We're feeding our children's minds and souls to the wolves" is a quite apt analysis.

    To Norway:

You will go along with the program. You will send your troops where we tell you, you will buy foreign products regardless of ethical considerations, you will stop supporting the vermin we are trying to eradicate, and under no circumstances will you threaten anyone.

Otherwise we will bomb your offices and kill your children.

We will do it on a famous anniversary, but it in such a way that no direct evidence leads back to us.

We will do it in a way that shows your police are thoroughly compromised and no use to you at all. We will do it in a way that exacerbates tensions between Christians and Moslems. And we will do it in a way that lends credibility to those who would trash the best features of your open, democratic society.

We will cover our tracks with a lame distraction which will confirm quite clearly -- to those with eyes to see -- that the entire world's "news" media are in our pocket. And most of your friends and neighbors -- including many who should know better -- will play along with it, if they show any interest at all.

And then ... ah, yes: then we will rejoice in your grief!

  7. I was watching a rerun of the Dave Chapelle show, I don't listen to rap and I usually find his musical guests unintelligible, but this one uttered "West Bank and Gaza Strip". It's probably control over content like that which led to him not renewing his ($20 million?) contract.

I don't know about Satanism, but the content of that Tyler video certainly is not something I would expose a hormone-addled adolescent to. It's just dark and negative. Kids like to emulate that sort of outlandishness. When I was a kid it was Ozzy Osbourne and the like. I had a buddy who, among his many other scars, had deeply carved "Ozzy" into his forearm. It might not turn a well-adjusted kid into a full-blown Satanist, but it certainly doesn't contribute to the well-being of troubled kids, which I'd say are far more abundant.

That Immortal Technique song is great. "I don't think Bush did it, he's not that smart"
